The history of Street Art City

Street Art City is located in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, specifically in Lurcy-Lévis in the north of the Allier. A true symbol of the rise of urban culture in the region, it offers an original and permanent setting completely dedicated to visual art.
The rebirth of urban heritage
Rising from the ashes in January 2015 and opened up to artists from all over the world, this hub of creativity spans about ten hectares, made up of 13 buildings and 22,500 m2 of walls that are constantly evolving with graffiti and the endless resurrection of a rich urban heritage.
HÔTEL 128, a unique space
Today, there are over 90 murals in addition to an old abandoned hotel, renamed HÔTEL 128. The 128 rooms of this hotel are handed over to street artists every year to let their imagination and creativity run wild in these unique spaces.

Zeso was born in 1978 in a suburb of Lyon. Gifted with an excellent sense of creativity, he began tagging and lettering at the young age of 12 to express himself. At Street Art City, you are instantly captivated by the magnificence of his talent as you step into room 069 of Hôtel 128.
Bast, a touch of originality
Bast was born on June 8, 1984, in the city of Lons-le-Saunier. This self-taught artist is the host of room 52. It was only in 2018 that he left the room, but not without leaving an artistic mark that still arouses so much passion.
Vincent Loisy, constant innovation
It was only in 2019 that Vincent Loisy truly emerged and established himself as an iconic figure in graffiti. At the time, he notably proposed a new, previously untested approach to street art.
